Wheels Up and AirMed partner to provide medical-transport services to members


Wheels Up, an on-demand private jet provider, has announced a partnership with AirMed. AirMed is a leader in medical transport and will provide medical-travel services to Wheels Up members and families.

This exclusive partnership will bring a new membership tier and provide a new product for members. This upgrade will cover up to 11 additional passengers if medical consultations or air medical transport is needed while traveling.

The partnership will provide 24-hour access to AirMed’s customized fleet and air medical crews. This access is provided when members travel more than 150 miles from home.

Wheels Up and AirMed will also provide medical transport by air if there is a confirmed or eligible COVID-19 diagnosis. Members will have access to the Wheels Up marketplace for flights to fulfill all their travel needs.

AirMed is a part of the Global Medical Response, a leader in providing air, ground, specialty and residential fire services as well as managing medical transportation.
