Revv Aviation brings FBO to South Dakota airport
Revv Aviation has opened a new FBO at the Huron Regional Airport (HON) in South Dakota, marking the company’s seventh FBO and ninth operating location.
According to Guy Lieser, CEO and President of Revv Aviation, the airport features a 7,200-foot by 100-foot-wide runway with an additional 5,000-foot crosswind runway that makes it capable of handling any size aircraft.
“We want to bring all of Revv’s services to Huron: maintenance, avionics, flight school and charter,” said Lieser. He also noted that the city, which is world-renowned for pheasant hunting, would be a good market for charter services during the six-month hunting season.
All employees will be retained by Revv and additional staff, including mechanics, flight instructors and pilots, will be added.
Other Revv locations include Aurora and Schaumburg, Illinois; Janesville, Wisconsin; Muscatine, Davenport and Council Bluffs, Iowa. The company also operates flight schools in Sioux City, Iowa, and at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska.
