Reed & Mackay Adds Several Execs to Global Sales Team

Travel management company Reed & Mackay announced a raft of new sales team leadership hires, including appointments aimed at continuing its growth in North America and Continental Europe.

For its North American growth, the TMC has hired two new VPs of business development. Trevor Fleming, who most recently was an account director with Travelport, will focus on the TMC’s sales across the U.S. Midwest and West Coast. Rob Scales, formerly Corporate Travel Management’s director of business development for meetings and events in the U.S., will be based on the East Coast and focus on the legal sector for the TMC.

For Europe, Reed & Mackay hired longtime CWT sales leader Joanna Hillman as director of European development, overseeing the TMC’s sales teams in each of its European markets. Hillman was with CWT for more than 25 years, most recently as senior director of sales for the U.K. and Ireland.

Additionally, Reed & Mackay has hired Emmie Mees as director of global sales, based in the U.K. and focusing on midmarket multinational companies. Mees also previously was at CTM, most recently as VP of business development in the U.K.

Also joining the TMCs’ London team is senior manager of meetings and events, strategy and consulting Daisy Crane, who previously was a global account manager for meetings and events with American Express Global Business Travel. That position follows Reed & Mackay’s move to merge meetings and events sales with business travel sales.

All those hires began at Reed & Mackay in February, according to their LinkedIn profiles.

Reed & Mackay said the sales team expansion and alignment has been led by chief revenue officer Kieran Hartwell, who joined the TMC in November. “Our customers are increasingly looking for us to deliver a highly unified approach to how we talk about ourselves and how we operate,” Hartwell said in a statement. “At the same time, we are hyper-focused on continuing the ambitious trajectory that we’ve set for ourselves.”
