Orien Aviation has expanded into AOC operations. Oriens Aviation is an authorized sales and service center for Pilatus Aircraft in the British Isles. Oriens Aviation expanded its service portfolio by adding an Air Operator’s Certificate from UK Civil Aviation Authority for the PC-12 family.
Orien has recently welcomed a PC-12NGX to the newly awarded AOC. The new subsidiary, Oriens Flight Operations, will have two signed PC-12NGX aircraft signed to the business’ AOC by Jan 2023, based at London Biggin Hill and Manchester Airports.
Accountable Manager Glen Smith runs Oriens Flight Operations business. With 25 years of experience in business aviation, Smith has held senior accounting positions within AOC operations, including accountable manager, ground operations manager and continuing airworthiness manager.
“The award of an AOC and establishment of this Flight Operations department is a significant investment in our seven-year history supporting Pilatus,” said CEO and founder of Oriens Aviation, Edwin Brenninkmeyer. “The decision was taken in response to demand, talking with customers we support for MRO and technical services, and new prospects looking for a comprehensive ownership experience, as the popularity of the PC-12 widens in Europe, including first-time business aviation owners and users.”
Oriens is also enhancing customer offering with the introduction of an EOS360 Enhanced Ownership Support program. The program builds on its expertise as a Pilatus Authorised Center. EOS360 delivers cost-saving benefits to owners by having their aircraft cared for in a single, streamlined process.
Oriens’ EOS360 covers three levels of support tailored to owners’ specific requirements, blending every aspect of ownership for peace of mind.
