Gulfstream G700 achieves 25 speed records on world tour

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced that the Gulfstream G700 has achieved 25 speed records on its recent world tour. Gulfstream flew two fully outfitted G700 production test aircraft to over 20 countries on six continents.
The world tour showed the performance capability of the aircraft and the sleek and spacious cabin inside. Flight testing began in March 2020 and has amassed numerous records for speed and design awards for the interior.

While the G700’s performance capabilities have made records, the interior has also drawn attention. The interior won the 2022 International Yacht & Aviation Award for its cabin design. The production test aircraft interior shows off the only ultragalley in the industry.

“The G700 world tour was a tremendous success,” Gulfstream President Mark Burns said. “We knew the aircraft would perform exceptionally well, and they exceeded even our own high expectations for both reliability and performance across a variety of routes. Showcasing the outfitted aircraft to our customers and prospects around the world bolstered the already strong demand we are seeing for the G700.
