Fargo Air Museum brings archives online with help from NDSU

The Fargo Air Museum and North Dakota State University (NDSU) have partnered to bring the museum’s collection of photographs and paper documents online through NDSU’s online archives platform.

“We are very excited to partner with the Fargo Air Museum,” said Hallie Pritchett, interim dean of libraries. “Their photographs and documents are fascinating, and we are happy to help preserve and share the history of aviation in North Dakota and the Midwest by making the collection available to the community.”

The archives will be available for students, researchers and the general public to view, learn from and enjoy.

“Many of these photos and documents have never been seen before on a large scale,” said Max Sabin, Fargo Air Museum collections manager. “Through NDSU we hope students, researchers and the general public can learn more about aviation history in North Dakota and the Midwest as a whole.”
