Eviation announces an order for 20 Alice all-electric aircraft by NTAS

All-electric Alice aircraft takes first flight
The Eviation Alice is the first flight-proven all-electric commuter aircraft of this size, able to carry nine passengers, or 2,600 lbs of useful load in a cargo configuration. Alice was built using a clean-sheet design around magniX’s industry-leading electric propulsion system. This all-electric aircraft produces zero carbon emissions and costs a fraction to operate per flight hour compared to light jets or high-end turboprops. This provides an opportunity to activate more routes, typically operating flights ranging from 150 miles to 250 miles.
NTAS is based in Alice Springs, a gateway for Northern Australia’s outback territory. The company has prioritized the adoption of carbon-free and sustainable technologies and is working with stakeholders to support the introduction of all-electric flights.
