
Emburse has launched specifically for its Enterprise clients a new expense management app, which the company said will ease and speed up the expense submission approval process.
The new app for Emburse Enterprise—which Emburse rebranded from Chrome River last year—provides an integrated experience for both employees and expense managers with automation provided by Emburse AI, according to the company. AI capabilities include adding accuracy to receipt capture and optical character recognition transcription that can support languages around the world.
“It delivers a smooth, intuitive experience that accelerates reimbursements and payments while helping enterprises track and control their spend,” Emburse chief product officer Paul Nagy said in a statement. “Accuracy is significantly boosted across language, currency and handwritten values.”
Other app features include a personalized home dashboard and the capability to do partial expense report approvals, with approvers able to act on line items even if other line items in the report are awaiting approval by others in the chain, according to Emburse. The company said the app is scalable “for future T&E innovations.”
