Avfuel Corporation and Meridian have announced a new partnership. Starting Wednesday, Avfuel has taken over as the official branded fuel supplier for Meridian’s Hayward, California location.
“We are honored the Meridian team entrusted Avfuel to help care for its team’s and customer’s needs,” Avfuel’s senior VP of sales Joel Hirst said. “The addition of Meridian Hayward to the Avfuel Network provides another premier flying and fueling location in the heart of California, with access to top-tier FBO amenities and Avfuel’s dependable programs.”
Meridian Hayward is located between San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland. It provides both business and leisure travelers access to the Bay Area’s most popular destinations. Meridian Hayward is part of a general-aviation-only airport and the guests are provided with services that accommodate the private aviation traveler. There is 24-hour availability at the airport and no commercial traffic. The location also has professionally trained customer service and line service teams.

Meridian’s FBO terminal has a main lobby, a full-service business center, a conference room with full A/V capabilities and seating for 12, a coffee bar, a kitchen, a catering area available for passengers and crew, and professional concierge services. Pilots can also benefit from the amenities like the pilot briefing area, lounge, sleep room and shower.
Meridian has a trained line staff to assist with ramp services like GPU, lavatory service, potable water service and quick turns. The center has IS-BAH Stage II accreditation and Safety 1st certification from the National Air Transportation Association (NATA).
With the new partnership with Avfuel, the Hayward location customers will have access to the AVTRIP loyalty program as well as transactions through Avfuel Contract Fuel, offering competitive fuel rates across over 3,000 locations around the world.
Meridian Hayward’s team will be in Avfuel’s aisles at the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in booth #616.
