GA Telesis MRO services implements management changes to further its expansion


GA Telesis announced management changes at its MRO Services Component and Landing Gear operations to streamline the structure of responsibilities and further seeks expansion of its operations, effective April 24.

Nelson Llompart will assume responsibility as the VP and General Manager with P&L responsibility. Llompart has been with the company since 2019 and is a seasoned industry leader. He has served in different positions during his career with several major organizations.

Emmanuel Camejo assumes the Landing Gear Operations Manager role, where he will be responsible for the operation and customer satisfaction of the landing gear product line. Camejo will report to Llompart in this role.

“Nelson has achieved great results in his previous roles in driving a safety culture that generates customer satisfaction,” the President of MRO Services group Pastor Lopez said. “Likewise, Emmanuel has been a solid contributor to the overall performance of the landing gear product since he joined the Company.”

Gus Garcia will stay with the company, supporting the landing gear growth as the company seeks to expand its footprint. During his tenure, Garcia successfully steered the Component and Landing Gear business throughout the pandemic, increasing sales by 40 percent between 2019 and 2022. The MRO Services group was formed during the second half of 2017 to streamline the decision-making process, lean MRO operations and create a single customer interface and quality experience among the companies in the group.

The MRO Services group strongly focuses on performance by deploying lean principles and eliminating waste from daily activities. The current OEM arrangements greatly benefit our customers and OEM partners. GA Telesis can deliver OEM quality material at a lower cost to the customers while still enhancing the OEM’s market channels.

The Component Shop, which is part of the MRO Services group, is a world-class facility that specializes in repairing and overhauling aircraft components and landing gear. This business is self-supported with the latest technology test equipment and a talented team of technicians and a supporting team.
